The Story
ENTER THE STORY
At Pas-dammim the Philistines gather against Israel. Eleazar the son of Dodo stands and smites them until his hand is weary and clings to the sword, and the Lord brings a great victory that day. Shammah the son of Agee holds a field of lentils alone against a troop of the Philistines. The men who stand in the breach are not invincible — but they will not give up the ground that was given them to keep.
