The Story
ENTER THE STORY
In the final twenty-four hours the clock becomes a deadline. Operation Lantern is scheduled for Hour 96, and Conrad Miller — the insulated executive who has ordered lives erased from the safety of his office — is finally about to meet the consequences he has spent a lifetime avoiding. But 96 Hours was never going to end with a clean arrest. Gabe's revenge has become something frightening, and as Conrad collapses, Gabe is only beginning. Ben, who saved Gabe on the road, must now save Gabe from Gabe — physically standing in the way of the very man whose protection once meant the family's survival. Emily, who killed from necessity, is the one who understands the difference between what she was forced to do and what Gabe chooses. The climax is restraint, because by then restraint costs Gabe more than violence ever could.
