Elijah
The prophet of fire who stood alone against a nation's compromise. Fed by ravens, raised from the ash, and called down fire that even the priests of Baal could not answer.
Antagonist · King of Israel
Ahab
The king who married for a throne and sold his soul for a vineyard. He rules a kingdom that has traded its God for a drought and refuses to see it until the fire falls.
Antagonist · The Queen
Jezebel
The queen who feeds the prophets of Baal and silences the prophets of God. Her shadow falls over the whole series, and her end is written before she knows it.
Supporting · The Hidden Faithful
Obadiah
The palace steward who hid a hundred prophets in a cave when the queen set out to kill them. He walks the line between the throne he serves and the God he fears.
